§         Received an “Excellent” evaluation on all three work terms;

§         Thrice elected Engineering Society Representative for Chem. Eng. Class of 2003;

§         Kept up an average above 80% while working a few (up to 3) part-time jobs;

§         Classified myself within the top 2 % in Canada in the 1998 Descartes Contest (a nation-wide mathematical abilities contest for high school students at the OAC level, by the University of Waterloo), receiving medal for School Champion;

§         Held fourth position in Canada for the first four weeks in the Fall 1996 Investment Challenge (stock market investment competition for high school students) and finished fifteenth overall.

 

VOLUNTEER AND BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES

 

§         Participated and co-organized Frosh Week as a frosh leader this fall;

§         Co-Organizer of the Children’s Olympics for the K-W Canada Day Celebrations organized by the University of Waterloo;

§         Participated in a six-month exchange program with Luxembourg in 1996-1997;

§         Volunteered at the ‘Festival Franco-Ontarien’ (1996,1997):made myself useful in many ways, met new people, and enjoyed my French Canadian culture at its best;
